Collins Design/Build Inc. was founded in 1992 by two partners, Steve Collins and Sue Kensler, with an idea that they could do better than they had seen and experienced in the commercial industrial construction market in and around Jackson, MI. With hard work, commitment, and dedication, the company thrived. Principles of quality work, value, and customer service, are the cornerstone of what we do here. Indeed everything we do is built upon them.

Now, over 30 years later, we have completed the transition to the next generation of leadership, as Jade Collins takes the reins of the company and moves it into the future. Our dedicated, well trained and longtime staff, have made this a successful transition. Collins Design/Build Inc. is ready to face the challenges ahead, by employing the principles of our past. While we specialize in metal building, that is by no means the only thing we excel at. We provide full service general contracting including interior exterior finishes, rough framing, acoustical ceilings, commercial doors and hardware, and finish carpentry. We also place and finish concrete for all manner of commercial or industrial applications, including truck docks, machine bases, and trenches as well as more ordinary fare such as sidewalks, floors and equipment pads. If you need it done, chances are we can do it.
